We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Architect to join our organization. This role involves designing and implementing security-focused architecture for secure software delivery, infrastructure, and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture, with a particular focus on application security and secure development lifecycle practices. Reporting to the Senior Director of Security Architecture, Engineering & IAM, this position offers an opportunity to influence security standards and drive key initiatives within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee secure software delivery architectures and CI/CD pipeline security measures, including static and dynamic application security testing, software composition analysis, secrets scanning, artifact signing, and policy enforcement. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and security architecture for container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Implement multi-cloud security strategies across Azure and AWS, covering IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerized workloads. Lead enterprise initiatives such as Secure SDLC and CI/CD security program rollouts. Conduct threat modeling, develop security standards, and establish reference architectures. Guide secure governance practices and facilitate the adoption of AI coding assistants and automation tools. Write production-grade code and infrastructure as code, actively participating in hands-on security architecture activities. Collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, influencing their security posture and practices. Operate within regulated environments, ensuring compliance with standards such as PCI and oversight requirements like those from NIGC.
Required Qualifications:
8-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture, with strong expertise in DevSecOps and application security. Hands-on experience in designing secure software delivery and CI/CD pipeline security. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and container security architecture. Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in regulated environments with relevant oversight. Strong coding skills and experience writing production-grade code and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Knowledge of multi-cloud security best practices across Azure and AWS. Familiarity with threat modeling, security standards, and reference architecture development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CKS, GWEB, or relevant Azure/AWS architect and DevOps certifications. Proven experience in implementing enterprise secure development lifecycle and automation strategies. Strong understanding of AI governance and automation adoption practices. Experience working in environments requiring strict security and compliance standards.
