RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking a 100% remote Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support the development, automation, and security of cloud-based applications and APIs.Summary:
This individual will play a key role in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, supporting API lifecycle management, and implementing secure DevOps practices across the development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, Harness, OpenShift, GitHub, and GitHub Actions, along with experience supporting security initiatives such as certificate rotation, secret management, service account management, and GitHub Advanced Security.Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines supporting new and existing APIs and applications
- Create and maintain deployment pipelines using Harness
- Support containerized application deployments within OpenShift
- Develop and maintain automation using GitHub Actions
- Implement and support security practices using GitHub Advanced Security
- Manage service accounts and associated access and security requirements
- Support API lifecycle activities, including certification, renewal, and certificate rotation
- Implement and maintain secure secret management practices
- Partner with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve automation, deployment processes, and platform security
- Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline, deployment, and environment-related issues
- Identify opportunities to improve DevSecOps processes, automation, reliability, and security
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and management
- Experience creating and managing pipelines using Harness
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with development, security, and infrastructure teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience using GitHub Advanced Security
- Experience with certificate management, including API certification, renewal, and certificate rotation
- Experience with secret management and secure credential handling
- Experience supporting cloud-based APIs and distributed application environments
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience working in a large enterprise or highly regulated environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
