Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Full Stack Developer combined with a creative Camera Man Content Creator to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge software solutions while producing engaging visual content. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using a wide array of technologies, as well as capturing high-quality video content to enhance our brand presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about both software engineering and content creation, eager to bring fresh ideas to life through code and camera work. This paid position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves blending technical expertise with creative storytelling. Must be able and willing to drive across NYC and Long Island. Duties Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications utilizing technologies such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React,.NET, and Python, ensuring robust performance and scalability. Design system architectures following best practices including microservices architecture, RESTful API development, design patterns, and system design principles to support scalable and maintainable solutions. Manage version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, conduct code reviews, and continuously improve development workflows for web applications and backend systems. Create engaging video content by operating cameras, capturing footage, editing videos, and producing multimedia content that aligns with brand strategies. Capture behind-the-scenes footage or promotional videos that highlight our projects or events with high production quality. Maintain an organized workflow for content creation including storyboarding, filming schedules, editing timelines, and publishing across various platforms. Qualifications Proven experience in full-stack application development with proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React), Python, C#, C++, Java, and SQL databases such as MySQL. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including cloud services like AWS or Azure, Linux environments, and network security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, scalable system design, and application development best practices. Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment. Prior experience in front-end development using modern frameworks like React or Express.js is highly desirable. Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not mandatory; a background in software engineering principles is essential. Excellent video production skills including camera operation, editing software proficiency (e.g., Adobe Premiere), lighting setup, and sound recording techniques. Ability to work effectively within Agile teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
