In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Pega platform architecture and software engineering to create scalable, efficient, and robust systems that drive operational excellence. Your contributions will help streamline workflows, enhance customer experiences, and support digital transformation initiatives across diverse industries. Duties Develop, customize, and maintain Pega applications using the Pega Platform's visual tools and Java-based components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architecture, and implement scalable solutions aligned with business needs. Integrate Pega applications with external systems via RESTful APIs, web services, and other interfaces to ensure seamless data flow. Optimize application performance by applying best practices in system design patterns, scalability, and cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS, Azure). Participate in Agile software development cycles including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Write clean, efficient code using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Ruby on Rails where applicable. Maintain version control using tools like GitHub or SVN; ensure code quality through rigorous testing and documentation. Requirements Proven experience in Pega development with a strong understanding of the Pega Rules Engine and Pega Platform architecture. Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure components including cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), Linux environments, and web development frameworks. Expertise in designing APIs (RESTful API), microservices architecture, and system design for scalable enterprise applications. Proficiency in software engineering principles such as design patterns, system integration, and application development best practices. Familiarity with front-end development technologies including JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular for enhanced user interfaces. Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes. Strong understanding of SQL databases (MySQL) and database management principles for data storage and retrieval optimization. Knowledge of Agile methodologies to facilitate collaborative project execution in fast-paced environments. Additional skills such as Ruby on Rails, Python programming language, VBA scripting, or quantum engineering are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
