Job Description
Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) We build some of the most advanced machine vision inspection systems used on high-speed production lines worldwide. Our solutions combine cameras, AI, and industrial software to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency for customers in food & beverage, pharma, and packaging. We're looking for a hands-on Software Technical Leader to shape architecture, guide engineering practices, and contribute directly to the codebase across a distributed team.
Ideal candidates:
senior engineers or tech leads who enjoy balancing hands-on coding with architecture, mentoring, and solving complex real-time system challenges. What You'll Do Promote software development best practices: coding standards, patterns, code reviews Define and maintain scalable, maintainable software architectures Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making Solve complex challenges in performance, reliability, image processing, and integrations Improve and maintain testing strategies (unit, integration, functional) Monitor and reduce technical debt, proposing practical improvements Contribute to the technical roadmap and backlog Implement tools and metrics to track code quality and engineering performance Stay hands-on in development, building new features and optimizing real-time applications Tech Environment C++ for high-performance, real-time image processing C#/.NET for tools, services, and operator UIs Python for scripting, prototyping, and AI workflows Vision frameworks: OpenCV, Halcon, custom algorithms Industrial integrations: OPC UA, Modbus Agile development with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field Experience in C++, C#, real-time or industrial software Agile development experience, CI/CD familiarity Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience mentoring engineers and promoting good engineering practices Comfortable in international, hybrid teamsBonus:
