$140,000 - $161,000 OTE Overview We are seeking a senior-level Storage & Backup Architect to join a growing Managed Services environment. This is a hands-on architect role focused on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale storage and data protection solutions across multiple client environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Dell EMC storage platforms and modern backup technologies , along with experience operating in complex, customer-facing environments. Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design Design and own enterprise storage, backup, and hybrid cloud architectures across multiple client environments Standardize and scale multi-tenant managed service platforms Ensure solutions align with SLAs, security standards, and operational best practices Technical Leadership (Hands-On) Serve as the highest-level escalation point for storage and backup issues Lead design and implementation of resilient, highly available storage and data protection solutions Drive disaster recovery (DR), replication, and backup strategy across environments Customer Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients on storage and backup strategy Lead architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution reviews Translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions Operations & Reliability Support 24/7 managed services operations for storage and backup environments Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization efforts Drive continuous improvements in reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency Mentorship & Strategy Mentor engineers and junior architects Influence long-term infrastructure strategy and service offerings Evaluate and recommend new storage and backup technologies Required Qualifications 15+ years of experience in enterprise storage and backup engineering/architecture Strong hands-on experience with Dell EMC storage platforms (PowerMax, Unity, Isilon, etc.) Deep expertise with backup/data protection tools such as: Veeam Commvault Cohesity NetBackup Experience designing and supporting disaster recovery and replication solutions 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise or MSP environments Proven experience working in customer-facing or consulting roles Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in an MSP or consulting environment Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and networking Experience with Cisco technologies and SAN fabrics Exposure to Kubernetes or containerized environments Familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks

Pay:

$70.00 - $95.00 per hour
