The position serves as the company's internal subject-matter expert and technical lead for Traumasoft across CAD, ePCR, billing, fleet, safety, human resources, scheduling, and inventory. During implementation, the position works with Traumasoft, Information Technology, operations, clinical leadership, and other stakeholders to configure the platform, translate existing workflows, coordinate system testing and go-live activities, and support user adoption across the company's operating divisions. Following implementation, the Traumasoft Application Engineer serves as the primary internal owner of platform administration, technical support, integrations, system governance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical implementation and company-wide rollout of Traumasoft across PatientCare EMS Solutions operating companies. Serve as the internal Traumasoft subject-matter expert and primary technical contact for the platform. Partner with operational, clinical, billing, fleet, HR, scheduling, safety, and inventory leaders to document workflows and translate business requirements into effective system configurations. Configure and implement Traumasoft modules across all approved functional areas as operating companies transition from legacy systems. Coordinate configuration reviews, system testing, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization activities. Work with operational and training leaders to support communication, user readiness, adoption, and the transition to new Traumasoft workflows. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data exchange between Traumasoft, UKG, ProviderTrust, inventory systems, and other approved platforms. Coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to align Huly QA/QI workflows and data needs with the broader Traumasoft implementation. Serve as the primary point of contact with the Traumasoft account and support teams for configuration questions, technical issues, releases, and platform changes. Own ongoing Traumasoft administration, access, troubleshooting, enhancements, testing, and optimization after go-live. Maintain data integrity within Traumasoft as the system of record supporting operations and downstream reporting. Document workflows, configurations, integrations, decisions, and administrative procedures to create sustainable internal system knowledge. Provide technical guidance to the Applications Analyst supporting Traumasoft in a junior capacity. Required Qualifications Direct experience configuring, implementing, or administering Traumasoft in an EMS environment. Demonstrated experience leading or playing a significant technical role in a large enterprise application implementation. Strong understanding of EMS operational and clinical workflows and the systems that support them. Experience translating business workflows and requirements into application configuration, rules, and technical solutions. Strong database skills, including SQL and relational data concepts. Experience building, configuring, or supporting system integrations and data exchange, including APIs and flat-file interfaces. Experience coordinating system testing, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and go-live support. Working knowledge of HIPAA, data security, access controls, and the responsible handling of healthcare information. Strong project coordination, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with vendors, technical teams, and operational leaders across multiple companies and functional areas. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, with the ability to travel to company locations as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a multi-site or multi-company EMS organization. Experience serving as the primary internal owner or subject-matter expert for a business-critical enterprise application. Experience supporting organizational change, training, or user adoption during a major system implementation. Experience with Huly or comparable healthcare QA/QI technology. Working knowledge of Power BI or reporting against operational healthcare data. Work Environment This is a remote position with travel of up to 25% to PatientCare EMS Solutions operating companies and corporate locations. Travel will support implementation planning, workflow review, testing, training, and go-live activities. The role requires regular collaboration with IT, operational, clinical, finance, and other functional leaders across the organization, as well as schedule flexibility during major implementation and go-live events.
