The Tokenization team's mission is to bring both public and private equity to be tradable 24/7 on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) across the Robinhood Chain. We work at the intersection of blockchain technology, financial market infrastructure, and modern distributed systems

- the systems you build move real customer assets, continuously, across multiple chains and jurisdictions.
- design, implementation, rollout, and operating what you ship in a 24/7 system Build the connective tissue between traditional market infrastructure (brokerage, ledgers, corporate actions) and on-chain systems, including smart contract integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows Partner with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to turn regulatory constraints into workable system design Raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentorship What you bring 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems in production Expertise in backend development with Go, Python, or Java, and deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture (Kafka, Postgres, Kubernetes, or equivalents) Strong instincts for correctness-critical systems•idempotency, reconciliation, and reasoning carefully about failure modes when money is at stake Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional projects, with the judgment to make tradeoffs and drive alignment Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond your own projects Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals•EVM, smart contracts, wallets, on-chain settlement•or a strong appetite to go deep quickly What we offer Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching Top Tier benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not Lifestyle wallet•a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
Base Pay Range:
Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $196,000- 230,000 USD Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $172,000
- 202,000 USD Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL) $153,000
