$89,000-$130,000/year We're looking for an experienced PLC Applications Engineer to develop, test, start up, and support PLC and SCADA control systems. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys PLC programming, automation, field startup, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers. What You'll Do Develop PLC application programs Program and configure PLC control systems Support SCADA monitoring and control systems Perform factory and site acceptance testing ( FAT/SAT ) Start up and test systems at customer sites Troubleshoot PLC-related issues Interface equipment with third-party systems Provide technical support to customers and field technicians Train operators, supervisors, and customers Prepare project documentation and system control narratives Work with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and budget What We're Looking For 2+ years of PLC programming experience PLC hardware and programming experience Experience with Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, and/or Emerson Water & Wastewater experience is preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in both an office and jobsite environment Strong communication skills Willingness to travel (~30%) regularly for startup, testing, and customer support The Opportunity If you're a PLC Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, or PLC Programmer looking for a role where you can work on projects from programming through startup and customer support, this could be a great fit.
