ELM Fieldsight, LLC dba ELM Microgrid in The Colony, TX is seeking Software Engineer Il(s) to research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Design, develop, and maintain mobile and web applications using modern frontend technologies.
Build and enhance iOS and Android mobile applications using React Native and integrate with platform-specific tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
Develop responsive web interfaces using Reactjs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal user experience.
Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and backend microservices into frontend and mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define, design, and deliver new features.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across platforms.
Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and UI/UX issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
Utilize tools such as Postman or Swagger for API testing and validation.
Work within Agile development environments using Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) involving front-end technology or mobile/web application development. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: 1.Postman or Swagger for API testing and validation
2.Git-based version control
3.CI/CD pipelines No Travel. No Telecommuting.
