This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying user-facing applications while collaborating directly with end users, product teams, and engineering stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and delivery of user-facing enterprise applications from concept through production deployment
- Build responsive front-end interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations that support mission and business operations
- Develop and maintain applications utilizing modern enterprise platforms and web application frameworks
- Collaborate directly with users, stakeholders, and product teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design scalable and maintainable software architectures that support long-term growth and operational needs
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices for testing, code review, security, CI/CD, and production support
- Develop and optimize integrations between applications, data platforms, and enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and integration issues across the technology stack
- Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to platform-wide architectural decisions
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting software engineering best practices across the team
- Support production deployments, operational monitoring, and ongoing application enhancement efforts Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise applications
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern web application development frameworks
- Experience designing and developing backend services, APIs, and data-intensive applications
- Experience delivering software solutions on enterprise application or data platforms
- Demonstrated experience owning software capabilities through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, and engineering best practices
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise or government environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple technical domains Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing applications that support operational, logistics, acquisition, financial, or business process workflows
- Hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms, low-code application frameworks, or advanced analytics ecosystems
- Experience with Python, Java, Go, Node.js, or similar backend development technologies
