MenuSys™, LLC, based in Eau Claire, WI, has been delivering a highly innovative solution to dealers and general agents since 2004. We offer more than a menu system; we provide an income development solution.
Principal Purpose of Position:
The Developer will play an integral part building functional applications and databases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience (approximately 3-5+ years) developing and maintaining production-grade web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework. Ability to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that align with established architectural and framework best practices. Experience contributing to complex codebases while maintaining high standards for quality, maintainability, and scalability. Strong understanding of user interface and user experience principles. Ability to design and implement intuitive, responsive user experiences using modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience leveraging Symfony ecosystem tools such as Twig, Live Components, Stimulus, and Turbo to deliver modern application interfaces. Solid understanding of application architecture, abstraction layers, and software design patterns. Experience integrating internal and third-party systems through REST and SOAP APIs. Strong working knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling. Experience utilizing AI tools to improve development productivity, code quality, documentation, testing, and solution delivery. Ability to identify opportunities where AI capabilities can be incorporated into business applications to improve efficiency, automation, decision support, and user experience. Curiosity and interest in understanding business processes and operational challenges.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent work experience 3-5 years' experience is sweet spot Proficiency with PHP, HTML, Java script, mySQL Experience with
REST & SOAP
APIs Experience working in a traditional
LAMP STACK
Linux familiarity and SVN or GIT familiarity GoLANG experience a Plus DOCKER experience a plus Experience developing and shipping containerized environments (Docker, Podman, etc). Self-starter that thrives in a collaborative engineering environment.
