As a Software Engineering Group Manager within PNC's C&IB Payments organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
Role Overview:
The Software Engineering Group Manager will lead a team within the C&IB Payments Technology organization, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Java-based applications supporting enterprise payment platforms.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development
- Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards
- Oversee full software development lifecycle execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security practices, and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong technical background in Java development and distributed systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- This position is primarily location-based and requires regular in-office presence.
