The TacAir RIL engages with industry to learn about TDL technology advancements and the pool of TDL related component and software vendors. The TacAir RIL provides better situational awareness to DoW regarding emerging TDL-related technologies so DoD can commence acquisition planning to transition these technologies into 4th, 5th, and 6th generation platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Analyze test results to identify system behavior, performance limits, and RF stress points Evaluate communications performance under complex RF conditions Use RF test and measurement equipment and supporting software tools to collect and interpret data Improve test approaches, analysis methods, and technical products where it helps the work Prepare clear technical reports, summaries, and supporting engineering data products Work across engineering disciplines to support integrated system evaluations Support the practical day-to-day tasks required to keep lab activities, integration efforts, and test events on track Travel as needed to support test events and evaluation activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, applied science, computer science, or a related technical discipline Top Secret Security Clearance Experience integrating and testing radio communication systems across hardware and software components Experience using RF test and measurement equipment and associated software tools Knowledge of waveform behavior, RF system performance, and digital signal processing Experience assessing communications performance in complex RF environments Willingness and ability to travel to test events Ability to learn new test, measurement, and analysis methods and applying them to practical engineering work Experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting work ranging from detailed analysis to routine test and team support Clear written and verbal communication skills DESIRED but not required

Experience across multiple RF bands Knowledge of radio data links Experience with waveform analysis, interference mitigation, or signal processing applications Experience using modern engineering analysis tools and workflows Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field CULTURE, COMPENSATION and
