Hybrid Subway is seeking a Testing and Automation Engineer to help deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions through automation, performance testing, and continuous quality engineering practices. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Software Engineers, Product teams, and DevOps professionals to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and improve delivery speed, reliability, and customer experience. As a member of the Quality Engineering team, you will design automated testing solutions, execute performance testing initiatives, and leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve efficiency and software quality. Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

Create automated testing solutions for:

User Interfaces (UI) APIs Backend Services Enterprise Applications Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. Develop scalable and reusable automation assets. Quality Assurance & Validation Execute and support: Functional Testing Integration Testing Regression Testing End-to-End Testing System Validation Testing Ensure software meets business and technical requirements. Validate application functionality across multiple platforms. Agile Team Collaboration Partner with Software Engineers and Product Owners.

Participate in:

Sprint Planning Backlog Refinement Sprint Reviews Retrospectives Define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Promote quality-first development practices. Test Framework & Tooling Maintain and enhance automation frameworks. Improve test execution reliability and reporting capabilities. Standardize automation best practices across projects. Continuously evaluate new testing tools and technologies.

Automation Tools Experience with:

Selenium Cypress Playwright REST Assured Postman CI/CD & Continuous Testing Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices. Enable rapid feedback for development teams. Improve release confidence and deployment quality. DevOps Collaboration Work closely with DevOps teams. Support automated quality gates. Enhance test execution within deployment workflows. Defect Management Identify, document, and track software defects. Reproduce issues and validate fixes. Perform root-cause analysis on defects.
