& Eng. Co. Inc. is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced NDT level 3 to assist in implementing a new department of the company. We're looking for someone that could also double as a Quality Assurance employee. We are a manufacturer of critical aerospace parts and assemblies. All of the products we manufacture require non-destructive testing per various OEM and industry specifications. We're looking for someone who has a full array of experience in, both, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection and Magnetic Particle Inspection.   • Input on the new equipment
  • Writing and developing procedures, techniques and standards
  • Maintaining the quality aspect
  • Ordering required materials
  • Overseeing and managing employees in the department
  • Read and develop work instructions for various customer specifications.
  • Inspecting parts
Essential Functions:
  • Continual management of our quality system in accordance with AS9100 Rev.
D and
ISO 9001.
  • Preparation and participation in customer and third party audits.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • Document control and Supplier Evaluation
  • NCMR and CPAR control.
  • Oversee and conduct calibration on measuring equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Perform in process and final inspections as required.
  • Perform First Article Inspections and Production Lot Testing.
  • Direct work with Government Quality Assurance Representatives.
  • Train new employee on SOP's and Work Instructions
  • Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices Required experience:
  • Previous QC and QA experience in the aerospace industry
  • Manufacturing experience in the use of quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
  • Proficient working with Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions
  • Working knowledge of basic math, basic statistics, and SPC
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
