Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Perform software quality assurance activities to support application development and system functionality. Develop and execute test cases and test scripts to validate software performance, functionality, and data accuracy. Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools, and support resolution through collaboration with development teams. Participate in requirements review and test planning activities to ensure alignment with business and technical specifications. Prepare basic reports on testing results, defect status, and quality metrics. Assist in maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test cases. Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies. Work under general supervision on assigned tasks and contribute to team-based Agile development activities. Software testing concepts. Basic knowledge of QA tools and defect tracking systems. Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Perform feasibility studies, and evaluate user requirements. Must be willing to travel for setting up various systems to various clients at unanticipated locations within the United States for short term and long term durations (not to exceed 20%) and no relocation is required.
