About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions built on the Salesforce platform. In this role, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure application functionality, data integrity, security, and overall user experience meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience testing Salesforce applications, APIs, and system integrations while working in Agile or SAFe environments. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities, identifying and tracking defects, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Test Planning & Execution Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for new and existing functionality. Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test coverage. Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing. Execute positive, negative, boundary, and cross-functional test scenarios. Document testing results and provide clear reporting of findings. Salesforce & Integration Testing Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, business processes, and custom functionality. Test integrations with external systems, APIs, and third-party services. Perform RESTful and
SOAP API
testing. Verify end-to-end business processes and data movement across integrated platforms. Support data migration, conversion, and reconciliation testing activities. Defect Management Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira. Collaborate with development teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues. Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure system stability. Escalate critical issues and risks appropriately. Data Quality & Security Validation Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across systems. Perform testing across user roles, permissions, and security profiles. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and business rules. Documentation & Collaboration Maintain thorough testing documentation, including test cases, results, and defect reports. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Improvement Recommend improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and quality standards. Stay informed about emerging testing tools, automation frameworks, and industry best practices. Contribute to a quality-first culture throughout the software development lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing. Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience working within Scrum, Agile, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments. Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Experience with manual testing, defect tracking, and test reporting. Experience testing Salesforce applications and integrations. Experience testing RESTful and SOAP APIs. Experience performing data validation and data integrity testing. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and business processes. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Associate Certification and/or Salesforce Administrator Certification. SAFe Practitioner, SAFe for Teams, or similar Agile certifications. Experience with Snowflake or other enterprise data platforms. Experience using Zephyr, QMetry, or similar test management tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices. Exposure to test automation frameworks and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD). Experience testing complex enterprise integrations and data conversion processes.
