Digital Accessibility Specialist

) and can use them to review accessibility § other examples would be color contrast review, use of AT tools such as keyboard only to navigate Review websites for accessibility, know standards and how to review properlyJob DescriptionInsight Global is seeking an experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to support the evaluation of digital tools and technologies for compliance with accessibility standards. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing a process to assess digital products, review accessibility documentation, and ensure alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and organizational accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in digital accessibility standards and assistive technology (AT) tools, as well as experience conducting accessibility reviews and documenting findings through accessibility conformance reports. Candidates with a background in accessibility consulting, digital accessibility testing, blindness services, or assistive technology are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of a standardized process for evaluating digital tools and technologies for accessibility compliance.
- Review and assess digital products using accessibility standards, including
WCAG 2.1
Level AA requirements.
- Evaluate Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) and other accessibility documentation to determine whether products meet required accessibility standards.
- Conduct accessibility testing and reviews of websites, applications, and digital platforms.
- Utilize assistive technologies to perform accessibility evaluations, including: ? Screen readers such as NVDA and JAWS ? Keyboard-only navigation testing ? Color contrast analysis and validation ? Other accessibility testing tools and methodologies
- Document findings and complete accessibility conformance reports with recommendations for remediation w needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate accessibility requirements, risks, and compliance considerations.
- Provide guidance on accessibility best practices to support procurement, implementation, and use of digital tools.
