RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Automation Tester in Minneapolis, MN.Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of customer-facing online banking applications. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital banking platforms through a combination of automated and manual testing, with an emphasis on end-to-end customer journeys, functional testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing experience, hands-on expertise with both Playwright and Selenium, a solid Java background, and experience testing online banking applications within a financial services environment.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
- Execute end-to-end, functional, integration, and regression testing for online banking applications
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive testing strategies
- Validate customer-facing online banking functionality and digital user journeys
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations regarding application quality and release readiness
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and quality assurance initiatives
- Continuously improve automation coverage, testing processes, and QA best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
- Hands-on experience with both Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience performing: Functional Testing; End-to-End Testing; Regression Testing; Automation Testing
- Experience testing online banking, digital banking, or consumer banking applications
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing mobile banking applications
- Experience working within large enterprise banking or financial services organizations
- Experience supporting customer-facing web and mobile applications
