QA Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our innovative software testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our diverse range of applications, including mobile and web platforms. Your expertise will drive the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, automate testing processes, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript. Conduct functional, system, regression, performance, load, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across various platforms including Android, iOS, web applications, and APIs. Perform mobile testing on Android and iOS devices to validate app functionality, UI consistency, and performance. Analyze test results to identify root causes of defects using debugging techniques and troubleshooting tools; document issues clearly in defect tracking systems like Jira or HP ALM. Collaborate with developers during the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to ensure quality standards are met through continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines involving Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. Support release management by verifying fixes prior to deployment and conducting post-release testing to ensure stability. Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project scope and testing needs. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, defect reports, and test results for audit purposes. Skills Strong proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages including Python or JavaScript. Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms with tools like Appium or similar frameworks. Knowledge of RESTful APIs testing using Postman or SoapUI; familiarity with API automation frameworks. Working experience with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data validation and analysis. Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN; understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Ability to perform root cause analysis through debugging techniques; strong analytical skills for data analysis and troubleshooting complex issues. Understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile (Scrum), Waterfall; experience working in fast-paced development environments. Knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter; experience conducting system testing under load conditions. Excellent communication skills for documenting test procedures clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
