As a key point of control for system enhancements and quality initiatives, this position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing system usage, designing solutions and creating specifications for adjustments to SitusAMC's systems. This role works directly with employees of SitusAMC's technology department and other stakeholders. This person serves as a subject matter expert for the technology.Essential Job Functions:
Collect, review, analyze, and document system/user requirements from business users. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and timelines. Respond to changes in project scope, priorities, or requirements by adjusting plans and priorities accordingly. Assign tasks as directed by manager Analyze information, including oral and written feedback from users, survey responses, and usage statistics to strengthen and validate requirements. Promote and support department goals and objectives Communicate feedback/performance/status of staff to manager Track, organize, and prioritize assigned projects Work on projects to completion within the required time frames, proactively communicating any delays to manager and/or interested stakeholders Analyze and translate business requirements to detailed functional designs for development, testing and implementation for SitusAMC's systems Investigate system usage including overrides, exception and validation handling, common errors or excessive time per page/field as assigned by manager Participate in discussions with other application analysts to ensure synergy between systems within the organization. Participate, own or facilitate any other quality initiatives as assigned by manager Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur Assist with UAT testing Assist in demo preparation Handle day to day requests Communicate test progress, results, & issues/roadblocks to project stakeholders/Mgmt Other activities as may be assigned by your managerQualifications/ Requirements:
College degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent. Over five years in mortgage / technology / secondary market experience Training in finance / mortgage banking desired Demonstrated success as a QA or Technology Analyst at SitusAMC strongly preferred Create and maintain positive and professional relationships with all staff and stakeholders Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated ability to provide actionable constructive feedback objectively and with diplomacy Computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS Office and web-based systems; visual aids; emphasis on Excel Excellent PC skills and possess high level of proficiency in Microsoft productsJob Classification:
