Full Time Role Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API testing and automation using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated API test frameworks and strong knowledge of Java-based automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API testing. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java. Validate RESTful APIs using HTTP methods, status codes, request/response payloads, headers, and authentication mechanisms. Work with Postman for API testing and validation. Perform database validation using SQL. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Maintain test documentation and automation scripts.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET. Hands-on experience with Rest Assured. Strong programming experience in Java. Strong experience in API Testing / REST API. Experience with Selenium or other UI automation tools. Experience with Postman. Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing. Experience with Jenkins / CI-CD. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
