12 months (Possibility of conversion) Job Description Quality Engineering The individual will design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality test-driven solutions across multiple technology domains. The candidate must demonstrate a strong Quality Assurance background, a "break the system" mindset, logical and creative problem-solving abilities, effective oral and written communication, and excellent analytical skills.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Both Manual & automated experience Experience in end to end testing Experience with selenium and playwright with java Test artifact creation (test case design/execution) Functional testing experience with UAT testing Experience testing full stack (both front and backend)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks for UI, API, and back-end validation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and related automation technologies. Perform hands-on test creation and execution for smoke, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across user stories, applications, and release cycles. Apply a strong QA mindset to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, uncover edge cases, and proactively "break the system" to improve product quality and risk coverage. Develop Quality Management plans, test strategies, test plans, and peer review test cases for each sprint or release. Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to validate business requirements, ensure adequate test coverage, support defect resolution, and lead defect review discussions. Maintain requirement traceability, test cases, test sets, defects, and QA status reporting in approved quality tools according to QA standards. Support non-functional QA phases, including performance, security, and accessibility testing, in partnership with cross-functional teams. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery practices by integrating automated tests into build and deployment pipelines. Provide guidance on QA strategies, proactive governance, risk management, and quality best practices across scrum teams and partner business units. Stay current with industry trends, test automation best practices, and continuous improvement opportunities for test development and execution.
Education and Experience:
B.S./B.A. or
M.S./M.A.
in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of overall experience executing and managing all aspects of software testing. Strong functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing experience across web-based and mobile applications. Experience testing RESTful microservices architecture in cloud-based environments. Understanding of cloud databases, NoSQL concepts such as DynamoDB and Aurora, caching technologies such as ElastiCache, and SQL for relational databases.
Technical Qualifications:
Working knowledge of test automation processes, concepts, and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, Protractor, Cucumber, and TypeScript. Experience with multiple development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid, and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MIRO. Experience with
REST API
automation, Unix, scripting, and developing reusable, maintainable automated test scripts. Working knowledge of AWS technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Glue, Athena, and Parquet file format. Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integration is preferred.
