Job Description

Remote Performance Tester Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a hands-on Performance Test Engineer to serve as the primary performance testing resource supporting a critical healthcare technology environment. This individual will own the performance testing lifecycle, including test planning, script development, execution, monitoring, analysis, and ongoing enhancement of existing performance frameworks.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with LoadRunner, Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, and performance dashboarding, with the ability to independently drive performance testing efforts across both new development and existing production enhancements. This team sits remotely, and must be willing to work EST hours, as well as obtain a Public Trust Clearence.
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, maintain, and enhance LoadRunner test scripts for new functionality and existing applications.

Create performance test plans, workload models, and testing scenarios based on business and technical requirements.

Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Analyze performance data and identify system bottlenecks across application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.

Utilize APM tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and New Relic to investigate and troubleshoot performance issues.

Build and maintain performance dashboards and performance reporting metrics.

Partner with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure application performance requirements are met.

Support ongoing enhancements to existing performance testing frameworks and standards.

Provide recommendations for performance improvements and establish best practices for performance engineering.

Contribute to performance testing strategy and future roadmap development.
Compensation:
$50hr to $72hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
