Job Description

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you play a critical role in driving quality across the software development lifecycle through shift-left testing strategies and quality engineering practices. You design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions supporting Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities across user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end business workflows.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks supporting UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing. Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end test suites using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or other modern automation technologies. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript. Apply shift-left testing principles by creating automated tests that validate functionality before deployment to higher environments. Validate APIs, microservices, and system integrations using OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications and contract testing methodologies. Participate in code reviews and advocate for testability, quality standards, and automation best practices. Contribute to the development of test plans, test strategies, and automation roadmaps. Mentor junior automation engineers and champion quality engineering best practices across cross-functional teams. Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements, non-functional requirements, and architectural standards.
