Software Quality Assurance Analyst IIILocation:

Jacksonville, Florida (Hybrid) Role OverviewThe Software Quality Assurance Analyst III is responsible for supporting testing efforts with development team counterparts and program management. In this role, you will write, document, and execute test plans and test cases; identify and track defects; validate defect fixes; and work with the larger test team on team-based testing efforts. This role will support an enterprise ERP project. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience testing for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solution as well as SQL Query analysis experience with Oracle databases. Key ResponsibilitiesEstimate testing efforts on small, medium, or large projects.



Review requirements, design, and architecture to identify gaps and derive scenarios for testing.



Design test cases using test design techniques and apply analytical skills to validate the fulfillment of requirements.



Create, maintain, and review test plans, test cases, and test metrics.



Investigate and report defects and appropriate test metrics.



Adapt test strategy based on evolving requirements specifications.



Perform functional and regression testing using different testing techniques.



Execute testing and report results for assigned areas of the project.



Work with the automation team to identify and resolve any issues with automated functional or performance tests.



Promote, recommend, and implement improvements to quality assurance standards.



Mentor SQA Analysts in technical and business-related areas and provide guidance on complex projects.



Serve as an SQA Subject Matter Expert on critical applications.



Assist the Team Lead and Manager with project planning activities.



Assist in the implementation, configuration, and customization of tools and technologies used by the SQA team.

Required QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Five years of experience in software testing, including executing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Scripts within ESP Financial software.

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of the software testing life cycle as it relates to the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).SQL skills with the ability to create, modify, and execute complex queries for backend testing.



Knowledge of computers, including desktop management, file management, and operations in a network environment.



Proficiency with standard Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.



Working knowledge in the use of test management and defect management tools.



Knowledge of a current object-oriented programming language (e.g., C++, JAVA).Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents, including design and architecture.



Preferred QualificationsFive years of experience in software testing in a transportation-sector development environment.



One year of experience testing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.Working knowledge in the use of automated functional or performance testing tools.



Working knowledge of scripting and the creation of automated functional or performance tests.
