Contract Job Summary Our Client is seeking an experienced Software Tester / QA Analyst 3 to join the Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated software testing, with a strong focus on ensuring software quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires a detail-oriented QA professional with strong analytical skills who can design and execute test cases, identify and document defects, support regression testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements. Create, maintain, and update test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation. Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA leads, and stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure software quality. Validate software functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform regression testing for new releases and system enhancements. Support automation testing initiatives and maintain automated test scripts. Maintain test coverage reports and quality metrics. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release testing activities. Ensure testing standards, processes, and best practices are consistently followed. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in manual and/or automated software testing. Minimum 4 years of experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management. Minimum 4 years of experience using Xray for test case management and execution. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing or maintaining test automation scripts . Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test documentation. Strong experience performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. Experience with API testing. Experience with SQL for backend data validation. Experience using Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools. ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
