NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Selenium C# / API Testing / SpecFlow) to join their team in Arlington, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Day Job Duties:

Design and develop automated test scripts for web and API-based applications using Selenium WebDriver and C#. Create, maintain, and execute BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test scenarios using SpecFlow and Gherkin syntax. Build and enhance Page Object Model (POM) automation frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability. Develop and execute data-driven test scenarios with dynamic test data management. Perform API testing and integrate API validation with UI automation testing for end-to-end coverage. Implement and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting. Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development teams to translate requirements into automated test cases. Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing automation frameworks and test scripts. Create and maintain test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking artifacts. Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and distinguish application defects from automation script issues. Mentor junior team members on automation best practices, framework design, and testing standards.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, QA Automation, or API Test Automation. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, and Swagger/OpenAPI. Minimum 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and C#. Minimum 2+ years of experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, or similar tools. Minimum 2+ years of Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, JSON, and XML. Minimum 2+ years of Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest. Minimum 2+ years of Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps. Minimum 2+ years of Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
