Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing test strategies for [Software/Hardware/System] products. You will work closely with developers to understand product requirements, simulate real-world user scenarios, and ensure high-quality, reliable, and compliant products.

Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Design:

Create, maintain, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications.

Automation Development:

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Python/Java to reduce manual testing efforts.

Defect Identification:

Perform manual and automated tests (functional, regression, performance, and stress testing) to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.

Bug Tracking & Documentation:

Meticulously document, track, and report software or hardware defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and verify fixes.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with software/hardware developers and product managers to improve product design, functionality, and testability.

Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback and reports to stakeholders regarding product quality and release readiness.

Compliance:

Ensure all testing activities comply with company standards, quality assurance methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum), and industry safety regulations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience as a Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).

Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong analytical problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

ISTQB or CSTE certification.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

Experience in a manufacturing or hardware-specific environment.
