e2i offers students the opportunity to work within interdisciplinary teams while gaining paid, hands-on experience. Projects are provided by companies or entrepreneurial UVU students, and teams are assembled to work under the guidance of a student project manager to complete these projects—mirroring real-world industry practices. Utah Valley University (UVU) is seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer / QA / Tester for e2i. As a Project Team Member, you will contribute to e2i's success by working on real-world projects involving mobile application development, debugging, testing, and store deployment. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure that projects are completed to industry standards.
Mobile Application Development:
Design, build, and test responsive mobile features, with a strong focus on native iOS and Android environments, specifically React / React Native. Tester /
QA:
Debug existing applications, identify performance bottlenecks, and perform rigorous cross-platform quality assurance to prepare apps for release on both iOS and Android app stores. Must be a current UVU Student, preferably studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience or coursework in at least one of the core focus areas: iOS/Android mobile application development and UI/UX implementation. Familiarity with relevant languages and frameworks: React, Swift, Java, Ionic, or Capacitor. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
