You will work side by side with engineering and business teams across the AR/VR product category.

The PLM Analyst will support product programs by managing component and BOM creation from early concept through End of Service. You will be able to define system configuration best practices and assist in developing AI tools to support this effort. You will prioritize competing work based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs, and engage directly with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Product Configuration Analyst Responsibilities:
Working independently in Siemens Teamcenter PLM you will: Manage and organize complex PLM projects and priorities, solve problems that impact release progress and provide detailed information to cross-functional teams Support Reality Labs product projects from pre-concept through end of service Create and release Bills of Material based on input from Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing to support NPI and production product releases Create and manage Service BOMs, Accessories and localized products Create and release manufacturers, manufacturer and vendor parts and internal part numbers in the PLM system Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect data, drawings, and specifications from multiple data sources Initiate and manage ECOs, MCOs, Deviations and Stop Ships Communicate Engineering BOM and data requirements between Supply Chain and Production to facilitate material planning, order fulfillment, logistics and service requirements Contribute to broader PLM organizational goals, including tool and process improvements End user support and problem resolution Identify opportunities to apply AI to PLM processes such as BOM validation, part number creation and classification, ECO routing, and data reconciliation
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of related experience in a high-tech, fast-paced, consumer electronics environment managing Engineering design/documentation releases Hands-on experience creating items and changes in a PLM system for part and product releases Experience with Mechanical CAD, ECAD and ERP systems Experience using AI-based tools (e.g., AI assistants, chatbots, or AI Agents) to improve productivity and data accuracy Track record of identifying and implementing AI-driven process improvements that measurably reduced cycle time or error rates
