SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST-TITLE

5, GS-2003-9, you will manage the Retail Supply Standard Army Management Informion System (STAMIS) in the Merial Management Branch. Review, analyze, and interpret supply directives and guidelines to formule and implement effective opering procedures to achieve optimum logistical support. Develop criteria and administer procedures to affect and ensure the validity of the quality assurance programs within the branch. Perform analysis and assessment of logistical program requirements to elimine problems and deficiencies. Develop and establish controls to ensure th results of workload requirements identify systemic problems and enhance mission accomplishment. Perform surveys and studies of branch supply operions to determine proper applicion of improved supply methods. Analyze da input and stistics extracted from da processing systems to assure adequacy and accuracy of products and functions. Determine and analyze trends in effectiveness and efficiency to be used for improving undesirable conditions, accountability of items, expenditure of funds, and management of resources within the branch. Oversee the preparion of budget estimes and maintenance of funds accounts for the branch. Perform other duties as assigned. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must have least one (1) year experience the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-07) or equivalent experience in the prive or public sector th demonstres the experience and knowledge of applying supply principles, concepts, and methodologies of inventory management or of supply program management to perform recurring assignments, operions, and/or procedures dealing with supply issues and problems. Experience with methods, techniques, and standardized automed dabases to search for and analyze informion, resolve questions, prepare entries for supply record systems, and provide supply informion, reports, and services. Experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, ghering pertinent da, and recognizing solutions. Experience planning and organizing work. Experience may have been gained in administrive, professional, technical, investigive, or other responsible work.
