Onsite About the Job We are seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support configuration management, data integrity, and product lifecycle governance across complex engineering and manufacturing programs. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining product configuration baselines, driving change control processes, and ensuring documentation accuracy and traceability throughout the product lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to manage technical data, evaluate engineering changes, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical products while working in a highly collaborative and detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities Manage product configuration baselines, revision control, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Review, analyze, and process engineering change requests and change orders. Maintain documentation traceability across engineering and manufacturing environments. Interpret and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and Technical Data Packages (TDPs). Monitor and track configuration changes to ensure alignment with approved baselines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate configuration impacts and communicate required actions. Ensure adherence to configuration management, data management, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Support product lifecycle activities from development through production and sustainment. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, traceability, and operational efficiency. Create and maintain detailed records, reports, and technical documentation. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on configuration management best practices. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of Configuration Management, Data Management, or related experience. Experience applying configuration management policies, procedures, and tools. Ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong organizational and document management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 6+ years of professional experience in configuration management or related disciplines. Professional Configuration Management certifications. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Experience using ERP systems, SharePoint, Windchill, Jira, and Confluence. Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and standards, includingSAE EIA-649.
Experience supporting electronics design or manufacturing environments. Experience in aerospace, defense, military, logistics, or other highly regulated industries.
