What You'll Be Doing The FLP System Analyst III is responsible for advanced level responsibilities supporting the Ford Extended Service Plan System (ESPS). Responsibilities of this position include all System Analyst I and II responsibilities in addition to beginning to understand the interaction between ESPS and other FLP interfacing systems. This position requires a high degree of critical thinking, attention to detail, and outstanding written communication skills. Expert understanding of the FLP business and the FLP system is required. During a Typical Day, You'll
  • All FLP System Analyst I and II duties and responsibilities.
  • Integrate new suppliers into ESPS for new business, or transition of existing business
  • Be the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding ESPS questions or concerns, as well as, for FLP business questions (e.g. CPO, Limo/Livery/Garrison)
  • Support FLP training developers by way of writing documentation or delivering ESPS training on advanced aspects of ESPS to client, co-workers, vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide system support to FLP departmental personnel, system owners who interface with the FLP system, and vendors/suppliers to the FLP Program.
  • Responsible for project management of FLP large scale program year launches (U.S. and Ford of Canada) and other business launches
  • Identify process improvements and best practices.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects assigned. What You Bring to the Role Education
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of college coursework is required. Experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of ESP business including product offerings, program knowledge, financial structure and compliance concerns.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of ESP System and interfacing systems.
  • Working knowledge of Business Objects reporting software
  • Interfacing with system developers and writing detailed business/system requirements is required
  • Developing test cases and executing user acceptance and regression testing is required
  • Writing functional system requirements is required What You Can Expect
