JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE
Systems Analyst
II QUALIFICATIONS
: Experience in the management and web-based systems. Knowledge of graphic arts and technical writing is required. Strong communication and writing skills are required. Experience using Microsoft Office suite, Dream Weaver, Quark, Web 2.0, HTML or other graphics software packages. Experience planning and managing IT/web-based communications, graphics projects or special projects. Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, math, technology, communications, English, marketing and or other related field. Four years of related work experience may be substituted for the college degree. Excellent communication skills.
REPORTS TO
Supervisor, Software Applications and Databases
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops implementation plans for IT graphics and web-based projects. Develops and implements technical writing, content, and graphics for web-based systems. Monitors the District's progress on web-based system implementation. Develops the specifications for graphics and technical writing for the District's information systems. Works with users to ensure technical writing and communications in web-based systems meet or exceed District's expectations. Works with programmers to ensure a thorough understanding all systems. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent and/or the Supervisor, Software Applications and Databases.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Twelve (12) months; non-tenurable. Evaluated by the Customer Service Manager consistent with statute, code and collective negotiations agreement. Compensation and benefits as established by the collective negotiations agreement.
