Systems Analyst - II

6-9 Month Contract M-F Onsite Overview We are seeking a hands-on Financial Systems / Reporting Manager with strong experience in enterprise performance management tools and ERP systems. This role will focus on supporting and enhancing financial reporting platforms, managing vendor transitions, and improving reporting and testing processes. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership experience and can clearly demonstrate practical, real-world system implementations and reporting deliverables. Key Responsibilities Financial Systems & Reporting Support and enhance Hyperion Planning and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) environments Work with reporting tools such as Orbit Reporting System or similar platforms Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational reports Translate business requirements into system and reporting solutions Power BI Development Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Clearly define: Types of reports created (financial, operational, executive dashboards, etc.) Data sources and transformations used KPIs and business insights delivered Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting meets business needs ERP & Systems Integration Work with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP Ensure alignment between ERP data and reporting systems Provide hands-on support for system enhancements and issue resolution Production Support & Operations Support Orbit Reporting System in a production environment, including: Setting up production support processes Establishing SLAs Creating and managing support tickets Ensure system stability and timely resolution of issues Vendor Management & Transition Lead transition from a third-party support team (approx. 4 months) Manage vendor relationships by: Setting expectations and deliverables Defining objectives and timelines Monitoring and evaluating performance Testing & Automation Review and assess existing testing scripts Identify requirements for test automation tools Support implementation and operationalization of automated testing solutions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5-6+ years of experience in: Hyperion (Planning and HFM required) Reporting tools such as Orbit or similar System design and reporting development Supervisory or management responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with OneStream Practical, hands-on ERP experience (JD Edwards or SAP) Experience in production support environments Strong vendor management experience Exposure to test automation frameworks Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
