Lead Systems Analyst
  • Enterprise Product Master Data About the Department The Enterprise Product Master Data team within Enterprise Data Analytics delivers a single, governed view of product data across the organization.
By ensuring product master data is accurate, consistent, and trusted across systems, the team enables better reporting, stronger finance and distribution alignment, and more reliable product insights for business partners. As a Lead Systems Analyst, you will help drive requirements, solution design, and end-to-end delivery for enterprise product master data initiatives. This role serves as a key connection point between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex data needs into scalable, governed solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy. You will work closely with data engineering, application development, architecture, and stakeholders across Finance, Investment, Sales, Product, and Distribution to solve complex data challenges, improve data quality and usability, and support enterprise-scale data solutions. How you will add value Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for enterprise product master data initiatives across systems. Drive end-to-end delivery of data initiatives, including planning, coordination, and execution across cross-functional teams. Define and manage data mappings, data flows, transformation rules, and integration patterns across source and target systems. Identify and document business processes, workflows, and data dependencies to ensure scalable and consistent data solutions. Drive data governance practices by defining standards, ensuring data quality, and aligning with enterprise data policies. Partner with business stakeholders to identify data owners and data stewards and establish clear accountability for data domains. Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions. Perform root cause analysis on complex data issues and drive resolution across upstream and downstream systems. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of analysis frameworks, governance practices, and documentation standards. AI Fluency We expect the candidate to apply an AI-first mindset in analysis, design, and decision-making. Use AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, and solution exploration. Leverage AI for data analysis, pattern recognition, and problem solving. Apply structured prompting techniques for complex, multi-step problems. Ensure AI-assisted outputs are validated and reliable before use in production contexts. What will help you be successful in this role Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience (10+ years) in systems analysis, data analysis, or master data management roles. Ability to design scalable data solutions and lead complex data initiatives.
Domain Expertise:
Strong understanding of enterprise product data domains and data governance practices.
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead initiatives, mentor team members, and influence cross-functional teams.
Governance:
Experience driving data governance initiatives, defining data ownership models, and aligning stakeholders to enterprise data standards.
Collaboration:
Experience working closely with business, architecture, and engineering teams. Technical Skills Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. Deep understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and master data management concepts. Experience working with product master data, investment and enterprise data domains. Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Soft Skills Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear insights for business stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) Experience in financial services or investment management domains. Experience working with GoldenSource Enterprise Data Management solution. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and modern data architectures. Experience with data governance or MDM tools. Exposure to AI-assisted analysis and development tools. Work Schedule & Location This role will work a hybrid schedule 3 days/week in any our Rancho Cordova, San Mateo or San Ramon offices. We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $134,500
  • $174,500, depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus a discretionary bonus.
