We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Army Client. This is a hybrid position and the candidate will be required to work from the client location in Crystal City, Arlington VA at least 2 days a week. + Configure Jira and Confluence to setup project structure per the client reporting requirements. + Support project leads in creation of tickets and track completion using Kanban boards. + Support project leads in the implementation and tracking of project structure and technical documentation in Confluence. + Generate statistics and reports from Jira to meet contractual reporting requirements. + Generate slides and documents to support project management activities. + Coordinate with stakeholders and users to implement documentation and tracking related tasks. •Required Skills & Experience•+ 6+ years of work experience in Project Management / Project Support + 4+ years hands on experience in Jira Development + 4+ years hands on experience configuring Jira and Confluence + In-depth knowledge of how Jira should be configured to track and produce the KPI's and statistics requested by the client. + Note that this is not a PM role and the candidate should be able to setup Jira structure and Confluence from scratch. Prior experience with initial setup on a new project is a must. + Experience in generating reports in Jira and by exporting data out of Jira into other reporting tools. + Experience working with technical development teams to create and track tasks to completion. + Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions + Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision. + Proven experience in knowledge sharing (i.e. solid documentation) + Driven, self-directed personality + Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference + Bachelors degree in an Engineering field + Active Secret Clearance •Desired Skills & Experience•+ Experience working on data science development projects + Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster positive outcomes from diverse interests of people and teams + Experience working with the DoD + Experience working with GFEBS or other SAP ERP system The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
