We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of project work inside a fast-moving MSP environment. Position Summary The Project Engineer executes client onboarding, offboarding, migrations, and small-to-midsize technical projects across our managed services portfolio. You will report directly to the Project Manager and own project tasks end-to-end inside ConnectWise, working closely with our Senior Project Engineers on more complex builds. This role is hands-on with Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, and our core managed services stack. We are looking for an engineer with solid MSP experience who is ready to step into a project-focused seat with a clear growth path to Senior Project Engineer. Main Responsibilities Execute project tasks assigned through ConnectWise Manage across client onboardings, offboardings, and migrations. Independently execute small-to-midsize projects, including cutovers, hardware refreshes, and platform rollouts. Deploy and maintain our managed services stack for new client tenants, including NinjaOne, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, IRONSCALES, and NordLayer. Accurately document work in ConnectWise tickets, including time entries, technical notes, and handoff details. Coordinate with the Project Manager pertaining to scheduling, dependencies, scope, and escalations. Maintain professional communication with client stakeholders during onboarding, deployments, and follow-up. Adhere to IT GOAT's documentation, security, and compliance standards for every engagement, including CMMC and GCC High environments as required. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT experience, with prior time in an MSP or multi-tenant environment Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 administration, and Azure AD / Entra ID Proven ability to manage project tickets from kickoff to closeout with minimal supervision. Ability to multitask and shift between multiple client environments within the same day. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with direct client interaction required. Customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on production experience with ConnectWise Manage, NinjaOne, and SentinelOne Microsoft MD-102, MS-700, or AZ-104; CompTIA Network+ or Security+ Real-world experience with Intune, conditional access, and hybrid identity Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and hands-on firewall configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting (Meraki, FortiGate, or SonicWall) Exposure to

CMMC, GCC

Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
