Syspro ERP Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
SYSPRO ERP
Specialist to take ownership of the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continued improvement of our
SYSPRO ERP
system. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands both SYSPRO ERP and the underlying database environment and can work directly with management and end users to ensure the system is reliable, secure, efficient, and properly configured to support our business operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day administration and support of the
SYSPRO ERP
system . Manage system setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Create and maintain user accounts, roles, permissions, and security access . Monitor the ERP environment and ensure the system is operating reliably and efficiently. Serve as the lead for SYSPRO implementations, system changes, data conversions, migrations, and version upgrades . Plan, test, and apply SYSPRO updates, patches, and upgrades . Help maintain the SYSPRO server and database environment and troubleshoot system-related issues. Work with management and department personnel to identify opportunities to improve processes through better use of SYSPRO. Provide training and ongoing support to associates and end users . Troubleshoot user issues and provide practical solutions. Develop and maintain custom reports using Crystal Reports . Extract, organize, and analyze SYSPRO data using Microsoft Excel . Develop queries and reporting tools to provide management with accurate and useful business information. Maintain system documentation, procedures, configurations, and change records. Work with outside SYSPRO consultants and vendors when necessary while maintaining internal ownership of the system. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Hands-on experience with
SYSPRO ERP
. Strong understanding of SYSPRO system administration and configuration. Experience managing user security, roles, permissions, and access . Experience with SYSPRO upgrades, implementations, and data conversions . Knowledge of database environments associated with SYSPRO. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries is highly desirable. Experience creating and modifying Crystal Reports . Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including importing, organizing, and analyzing ERP data. Ability to troubleshoot ERP, database, server, and user-related issues. Ability to train employees with varying levels of technical experience. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish. Manufacturing Experience Preferred Experience supporting SYSPRO in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing ERP functions such as the following is a major plus: Inventory and material control Bills of Material (BOM) Work in Process (WIP) Manufacturing jobs/work orders Purchasing Sales orders Lot and serial traceability Scheduling and production Costing Quality-related processes Shop-floor data collection MRP and material planning Experience working in an aerospace, precision machining, or other highly controlled manufacturing environment is especially valuable. What We're Looking For We are looking for more than someone who can simply maintain the system. We want a person who can take ownership of SYSPRO , understand how our departments use it, identify problems and inefficiencies, and help us get more value from the ERP system. The right candidate should be comfortable working directly with management, accounting, purchasing, production, quality, inventory, shipping/receiving, and other departments to develop practical solutions.
Compensation:
Competitive and based on SYSPRO experience, technical capability, and manufacturing experience. We are willing to highly compensate the right individual with strong SYSPRO expertise .
