Position Information Posting Number S06599P Position Title Clinical Systems Info Analyst Department Health Services Location Arlington Position Status Full-time Work Schedule Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm Salary Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience. Pay Basis Bi-weekly Job Summary The Clinical Systems Info Analyst will provide support for electronic health record and clinical information systems, manage clinical data, train and assist users on clinical platforms, maintain hardware. The annual salary for this position ranges from $59,400 to $76,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide electronic health record/clinical systems management, including pharmacy, radiology, and laboratory user software support. Train users on new, modified, and updated systems. Request and maintain user access. Provide data analytics, including set up of the electronic health record for specific inquiries and preparation of reports. Liaise with vendors, UTA OIT, and information Security on systems' needs, upgrades and data security. Ensure Health Services' and CAPS' computing systems and printers are up to date, well-maintained, and secure. Maintain digital health records and, when due, complete record disposal. Update and edit Health Services' electronic health record patient and staff facing portal as needed. Perform various administrative duties including preparing a budget for purchases, working with OIT on purchases of needed computing items, working with vendors on software purchases, maintain computing system inventory including annual reporting, prepare accessibility reports. Hire and supervise GRA student employee who provides general IT support. Perform other duties assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree. Two (2) years related experience or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. Four (4) years of experience in a healthcare setting providing electronic health record support. EMR certificate. Understand HTML/website support. Strong knowledge of data warehousing, reporting schema design. Understand networking and security info-structure, and operating systems. Understanding of protected health information data security. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of systems security procedures and protocol. Knowledge of data protection act, privacy and pci compliance. Ability to troubleshoot issues and to coordinate with other OIT functional areas. Excellent communication skills. Ability to learn and support new business systems, software and processes.
