This role serves as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite ecosystem users, providing technical mentoring, coaching, and consulting to resolve issues and improve process and application performance. You will act as the subject matter expert on NetSuite functionality and system design, partnering with business departments to configure, enhance, and support the platform. This position is accountable for the day-to-day health, reliability, and continuous improvement of NetSuite operations. If a business process depends on NetSuite, you will help ensure it runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
NetSuite Support & Administration:
Application Support:
Support and maintain NetSuite and related business applications across the NetSuite ecosystem.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Act as the subject matter expert on NetSuite functionality and system design.
User Support:
Provide ongoing system and technical support to users, acting as an advocate to resolve issues and improve process and application quality.
System Design & Configuration:
Enhancement Proposals:
Propose system design and enhancements based on business problems and product requirements.
Configuration Management:
Create and manage changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards.
Best Practices:
Ensure best practices are followed across all configuration and administration activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Business Partnership:
Work with various business departments to align NetSuite capabilities with operational needs.
Project Support:
Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out enhancements, and support, drive, and coordinate larger, more complex NetSuite projects.
Documentation:
Maintain documentation of key operational processes, system improvements, and their revisions.
Ongoing Operations:
System Monitoring:
Manage day-to-day operations of NetSuite, including monitoring the health of NetSuite processes.
Knowledge Currency:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integration.
Change Management:
Perform configuration, release, change management, and testing activities as required, and participate in project configuration sessions.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of NetSuite Administration experience. Proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting, creating dashboards, custom forms, and workflows. Solid understanding of core NetSuite system functionality and ERP configuration (adding new fields, forms, custom records, etc.). Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment, including under pressure and against deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of financial and supply chain processes. Experience in wholesale distribution or retail environments. Experience with enterprise-level cloud-based ERP solutions (NetSuite preferred).
