Job Description

We're partnering with our client to find a skilled IT Software Analyst to support their Software Asset Management team. This remote, temporary contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to software compliance and lifecycle management within a dynamic organization. The position is designated as a 4 month engagement. There is no application deadline for this role. IT Software Analyst (Software Asset Management)
Responsibilities:
Maintain a precise inventory of software licenses across organizational systems. Monitor software usage and verify license compliance regularly. Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports. Analyze license data during renewals to highlight optimization opportunities. Communicate with vendors regarding licensing, compliance, and subscriptions. IT Software Analyst (Software Asset Management)
Qualifications:
4+ years of proven experience managing software assets in an enterprise IT setting. Practical knowledge of software discovery, inventory, and normalization. Ability to reconcile licenses with entitlements to ensure compliance. Familiarity with various licensing models, including user, device, subscription, and core-based licenses. Experience with SaaS and cloud software subscription management.
