Full-time Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring & Response:

Learn to actively monitor our SIEM and endpoint protection dashboards. You will follow established playbooks to triage security events, investigate anomalies, and escalate real threats to senior management.

Email Threat Hunting:

Serve as the first line of defense for our email systems. You will be trained to analyze suspicious emails, review headers for spoofing, and help manage our email filtering gateway to prevent phishing and malware.

Data Protection:

Assist in monitoring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to ensure that highly confidential documents and sensitive client information are transmitted securely.

Systems & Network Support:

Assist with the daily administration of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

End-User Assistance:

Provide exceptional, white-glove Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to our staff for desktop, mobile, and VOIP issues, maintaining the utmost professionalism and discretion.

Infrastructure Maintenance:

Get hands-on with the physical side of IT, assisting with office connectivity, network cabling, hardware deployment, and executing weekly vulnerability patching schedules.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related field preferred, but not required.

Experience:

0-3 years of experience. Prior IT internships, capstone security projects, or verifiable experience managing a "home lab" environment are strongly preferred.

Foundational Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of core networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

Academic or practical familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles (phishing analysis, malware behavior, least privilege access).

Certifications:

CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar entry-level certifications are a major plus (or a willingness to obtain them within your first 90 days).

A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you research before you ask, but you aren't afraid to ask for help when dealing with a security threat. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
