Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT and eMASS Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise IT systems, ensuring seamless operation of eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service) platforms, and implementing robust security measures. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our IT infrastructure, support software solutions, and optimize system performance to meet organizational goals. Duties Manage and support eMASS platform configurations, updates, and user access controls to ensure compliance with security standards. Oversee system administration tasks including server backup and recovery, storage management, and system tuning to enhance performance. Implement automation processes for system deployment, software updates, and routine maintenance activities. Troubleshoot technical issues related to software applications, operating systems, network connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols. Support solution architecture development by integrating technologies such as RAID controllers, VMware virtualization, Kubernetes container orchestration, and microservices architecture. Conduct system design reviews and participate in configuration management to ensure consistency across IT environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on systems engineering projects involving Active Directory management, load balancing, RESTful APIs, and database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Skills Strong knowledge of RAID controllers, server administration, and storage management techniques. Experience with Service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design, and systems engineering principles. Proficiency in Pegasystems platform implementation and software administration. Expertise in system troubleshooting including Windows Server administration, UNIX/Linux environments, shell scripting (Bash), PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, REST APIs, and cybersecurity best practices. Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi and ESXi hosts; container orchestration using Kubernetes. Ability to perform performance tuning on operating systems and applications to optimize efficiency. Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), configuration management tools like Git, and automation frameworks for software deployment. Understanding of information security principles including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data protection strategies. Strong background in database management including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL; experience with PL/SQL programming is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical troubleshooting support quickly and effectively. Work Environment This is an on-site position supporting operations at Fort Benning, Georgia . Normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, excluding recognized federal holidays and Government-directed facility closures. The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain applicable installation access and Government network credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), subject to Government security and eligibility requirements. This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award and is expected to support operations at Fort Benning, Georgia. The position will become active upon contract award and completion of applicable onboarding and Government access requirements.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
