IT Analyst (Multi-Site Manufacturing)

Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:

The IT Analyst is responsible for the day to day IM administration and support of Buffalo Grove site as part of the IM organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide first-line IT support by actively monitoring and responding to tickets with urgency and prioritizationDeliver hands-on and remote support for end users across office and production environmentsSupport multi-site operations (Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Ravenswood)Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issuesManage incidents and service requests through resolution with strong time managementCollaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to drive issues to resolutionAssist with local IT projects (deployments, upgrades, site initiatives)Create and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articlesTrain and support end users through 1:1 sessions and group trainingOwnership of project through life cycleTechnical RequirementsActive Directory /Windows / Microsoft 365 supportDell laptop/desktop hardware troubleshooting and deploymentNetwork and printer supportSoftware installation and deployment toolsBasic networking knowledge (LAN vs WLAN, client vs server)Video conferencing systems support What We're Looking ForStrong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHands-on problem solver who takes ownership through resolutionComfortable working in a manufacturing environment where production is criticalStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work independently and across teamsQualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

3+ years IT support / help desk experienceExperience supporting multi-site environmentACUC User Account Management, unlocking accounts, resetting passwords Support Microsoft OS, Office software PC diagnostics and desktop deployments (DELL Laptop/Desktop Hardware Support Experience) Printer and peripheral devices installation and maintenance (XEROX, HP, Network Printers) Software installation via media or deployment software Identify wLAN vs LAN and Client vs Server related issues effectively Video Conference equipment support Demonstrable customer service expertise (Prioritize, Time Management, and Escalation of tickets) Structured, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Effective verbal, presentation, written and listening communication skills Reliable transportation (required for site travel)Manufacturing experience or MSP level supportWhat Success Looks LikeFast, effective ticket resolution with minimal escalationStrong relationships with end users and site leadershipProactive identification of recurring issues and improvementsReliable support for production-critical systems

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

PAY RANGE
