Applications Analyst
I DEPARTMENT
932 - GO Enterprise Architecture & Applications
JOB SUMMARY
The Applications Analyst I is responsible for the centralized coordination of assigned applications. This role will work closely with IT and vendor partners to ensure timely response to reported cases and incidents. Additionally, will be responsible for the administration of the applications such that these tools are applied appropriately and consistently to support business processes all throughout the organization, wherever possible. Finally, this role will support and educate employees about the functionality and use of these tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Determine operational objectives by studying business requirements, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Collaborate with across multiple teams and departments to provide innovative solutions while meeting business, compliance, security, and risk objectives. Improve systems by studying current system/application use practices and designing modifications. Ownership of relevant system upgrades and knowledge of upgrade impact to business processes. Recommend controls and solutions by identifying problems/issues and documenting solution outcomes. Maintain enterprise systems protocols by writing and updating procedures. Collaborate with team members to monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. Comply with all company or regulatory policies, controls, procedures and requirements applicable to this position. Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion, innovation, collaboration, accountability, achievement and passion. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company's mission, vision and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field preferred. Three to five years' experience with core banking systems or software application administration. Demonstrated understanding of software requirements and technical software documentation. Perform troubleshooting and resolving software issues. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Self-motivated to complete tasks with minimal direction. Strong sense of urgency to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hybrid or remote, travel may be required less than 10%
SALARY & BENEFITS
The minimum salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000 annually. The actual starting salary will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law. This position is a regular full-time position and individuals employed as regular full-time are eligible for the following benefits subject to the terms, limitations and conditions of each benefit plan: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and additional Voluntary Supplemental Insurance.
