About the role:
We're looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technology-forward Senior Sales Operations Analyst to help drive operational excellence and digital innovation across our commercial organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex business problems with data, and is passionate about leveraging analytics, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies to improve processes and enable sales success. As a trusted business partner to Sales Leadership, you'll transform data into actionable insights, optimize sales processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and commercial performance. You will also play an important role in advancing how the organization uses technology, AI, automation, and data to work smarter, accelerate decision-making, and create scalable solutions. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous-improvement mindset. The ideal candidate is comfortable exploring new technologies, experimenting with AI-enabled capabilities, and translating emerging tools into practical solutions that deliver measurable business value.Your responsibilities will include:
Calculate and assign annual and periodic quotas for field sales representatives in partnership with Sales Leadership, using data-driven methodologies to support equitable and effective quota allocation. Analyze sales performance and key business metrics to provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical tools that enable timely, data-driven decision-making. Apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to Sales Operations workflows, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort, accelerate analysis, improve accuracy, and enhance sales productivity. Explore and evaluate emerging AI and digital technologies, including generative AI and intelligent automation, and translate relevant capabilities into practical Sales Operations use cases. Develop AI-enabled approaches to data analysis and business insights, helping teams identify trends, summarize complex information, accelerate recurring analyses, and improve decision support. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that increase operational efficiency and sales productivity. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and Commercial Enablement teams to support strategic initiatives and advance technology-enabled capabilities. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and appropriate use of sales data through rigorous quality control, documentation, and data governance practices. Support territory planning, headcount management, account alignments and organizational planning. Build and improve scalable workflows and self-service solutions that enable commercial teams to access insights more efficiently and reduce reliance on manual reporting. Translate complex data, analytical findings, and AI-generated insights into clear, concise recommendations and executive-level presentations. Continuously evaluate systems, tools, data sources, and processes and recommend scalable improvements that support organizational growth and evolving commercial needs.Required qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, analytics, data science, economics, information systems, data analytics or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales operations, business analytics, commercial operations or a related analytical role. Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms. Experience working with large datasets to identify patterns and trends and translate findings into business recommendations. Experience using AI-enabled tools, generative AI, AI assistants or copilots, automation platforms, advanced analytics, or low-code/no-code technologies in a business environment. Knowledge of data quality, governance and validation principles, including evaluating outputs generated by automated or AI-enabled solutions.Preferred qualifications:
Experience with CRM platforms and commercial technology ecosystems, such as Salesforce or similar tools. Experience with SQL, data preparation or transformation tools, or other analytical technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly learn and evaluate emerging technologies and identify practical applications to business challenges. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement new approaches that improve team productivity, analysis or business processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate technical or analytical concepts for nontechnical audiences and influence across multiple levels of the organization. Ability to prioritize competing demands and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
