This position leads vulnerability management efforts, leads incident response activities, and enhancements to security practices. A key responsibility includes leading automation and AI-driven enhancements to security service delivery, ensuring efficiency and scalability across all security operations. Key Responsibilities Security monitoring Lead the monitoring and analysis of security alerts/incidents to identify complex threats and vulnerabilities. Provide security consultation and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. Oversee remediation of detected vulnerabilities to maintain security standard. Develop, present, and interpret security reports for internal and client stakeholders. Collaborate with FIT leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals. Research and recommendations Stay updated on the latest security trends and industry best practices. Research, evaluate, and recommend security enhancements and technologies. Lead the review and improvement of security procedures and processes. Champion automation and AI initiatives to streamline security workflows, improve detection capabilities, and reduce response times. IT Incident Response Lead incident assessments and response efforts across teams. Analyze logs across the network, workstations, servers, and cloud services to identify root cause(s). Develop and execute advanced monitoring procedures to identify and remediate security incidents. Manage and communicate throughout the lifecycle of a reported or identified security incidents. Required Qualifications Display a professional, confident, reliable, trustworthy, positive demeanor. Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong continuous learning mindset for evolving security threats and technologies. Organizational and time management skills with strong orientation to detail and ability to follow through on tasks Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Process oriented (plan, analyze, design, implement & support) Excellent organizational, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of varying versions of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments. Understanding security principles and frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO, etc.) Proven ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities. Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (technical and non-technical) Experience with Azure AD and Intune/Endpoint Manager Understanding of firewalls, SIEM, AV, MDR, and IDS/IPS concepts. Relevant security certifications (i.e. Azure, Microsoft Security, CySA+) strongly preferred. Experience implementing automation and AI solutions in security operations, including orchestration tools, machine learning-based threat detection, and automated incident response workflows. Preferred 1-3 years of experience working as an IT Security Analyst or in a similar role. Working Conditions + Physical Requirements This position primarily operates in a professional office environment. Regular, in-person attendance at FIT Technologies Headquarters during standard business hours is required to perform the essential function of this role. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and participating in in-person meetings. Specific scheduling expectations will be determined by leadership based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work to support meetings, events, or deadlines, occasional work weeks of more than 40 hours.
